Today I am SO lucky to send you off into the weekend with some really exciting news! I could not be prouder to get to be the one to unveil this to you: a brand new branch of our J&M umbrella called...&J2 Kids!! Julia has been shooting with us at all of our weddings for coming up on three years now, and while she will continue to shoot a good bit of those with us....we definitely knew that it was time for her to break out and introduce her own kid line of portraits with us. This is something we have been working on behind the scenes for a long time coming now & I cannot tell you how proud I am of our girl today!! (**For those of you who are new to the blog, the "&J2" comes from us getting a ton of emails that say "Justin & Mary (....and Julia too!)" And, it just sort of stuck! )
To celebrate the launch of &J2 Kids, we decided to kick things off with one power day of mini-sessions themed all around our inspiration board "April Showers." On March 24th, we are going to be opening our studio to ten awesome families. At that time, we will have constructed a whole set based around the design board you see below (I'm not ready to give it all away just yet, but I will tell you wellies & watering cans will be involved!), and each family will get a 30 minute session as well as their own personal proofing party immediately following.
