The flowers arrived in a parade of white hydrangeas, and the tears started to flow. Her mom would have loved to be here for this. She held on to her sister, and hugged her dad a little tighter. As the three of them waited for their turn to go. And just as the bagpiper began his steady cadence calling them onward, the sun filtered in from the tree tops and kissed the top of her head. It lit up everything around them, bathed the whole scene in golden light. And when a warm breeze brushed through and readjusted her veil just one last time, there wasn't any question in my mind....that her mom hadn't missed a thing.

And she held on to him, and squeezed his hands a little tighter. As the two of them waited for their turn to go. When the words were spoken and the vows were said, his steady hand led her onward. To a place where the sun washed over both of them, and he leaned in to kiss the top of her head. She lit up everything for him, bathed everyone around her in golden light. Her mom had always wanted for her, someone who would love her with his whole heart. And standing there, as he brushed the hair back from her face and kissed her just one more time, there wasn't any question in my mind....
that her mom hadn't missed a thing.

Jen & Eian are an extra special couple to us, because they hired us as part of our Orlovsky Foundation giveaway we did last summer. The idea was that we would donate one of our wedding packages, and in exchange, the couple would donate 100% of their payments to the Dan Orlovsky Foundation to help build a new children's stadium with the Miracle League. So besides the fact that these two are just amazing together, as you can imagine, the feel good factor was through the roof! :) Jen & Eian we cannot thank you enough for your generous hearts and for who you guys are as people. Thank you so much for bringing us up to Cape Cod to celebrate with you guys, and for making us feel like part of the family. We will never forget that. And I am so, so grateful to know you and now call you friends. We love you guys!
