I hope you all have exciting plans today with someone that you love! And I can't think of any prettier, more-fitting pictures to show you today to send you off into the weekend right, than the recap of our Kate Spade themed Walk Through a Wedding w/ J&M Workshop!! From the pink, red & purple theme to the heart shaped menu to a vintage carousel reserved just for two, this would be a dream Valentine's Day wedding to shoot! We are absolutely over the moon in LOVE with how this one turned out!
We also wanted to give you guys a behind the scenes feel for what the whole day feels like at Walk Through because we are getting ready to announce our only other two Walk Throughs for the year early next week. So definitely stay tuned for that! In the mean time, I am off to celebrate Valentine's Day with my best friend (and husband!) who surprised me with reservations for the two of us at the OH! Spa at the fancy pants Ocean House. I'm telling you, they just don't get any better than Justin. And today more than ever, I am so SO grateful that I get to do this business, this life and this dream with him.
So much love,
***And of course, NONE of this would have been possible without the incredible creative team who railed together to bring their talents & gifts to the table. It is an HONOR to know each & every one of them!

We start the day with the lecture format part to give an overarching view of how we tackle a wedding day & the "Why" behind everything we do.
We have lots of fuel to keep everyone going strong!
I'm very funny. VERY! :)
We have a bride & groom on site at the house for the "getting ready" portion of the day. We normally have a real life couple, but these guys aren't actually together. But I think all of us were all hoping sparks would fly, because they are adorable!! :)
Shooting the "iconic bridal portrait."
After the lecture portion, we break for lunch! The food is one my favorite parts of the day....it's such a great chance to just sit down together & build community. PLUS, we pick food from all of our favorite restaurants, so it's kind of like the food network tour of New Haven! (hello Pepe's pizza!)
Then we head over to our venue, in this case the Carousel House, to talk about posing, shooting the ceremony & the reception.
As you can see, our details were OFF the hook this time!!! All the thanks goes to our incredible vendors!!
LOVE that centerpiece!! And those heart shaped menus!
We also had our gorgeous bridesmaid, Jill, on hand to give people more posing opportunities
Pop. Fizz. Clink. Small details can tell a big story.
I mean seriously? That CAKE!!
Couldn't have a Kate Spade themed shoot without these pretties! The Kate Spade "Charm" Heel.
Work it. Lemme work it! There is PLENTY of time to shoot, shoot, shoot!
Just LOVE these girls & the new friends I now have!! xo
Once the light starts going down, Justin breaks out the big guns for our lighting demonstrations for ceremonies, details & receptions.
So that you can get stuff like this!
We talk about First Dances....
...and the Toasts!
And then we practice "the family photo football" so we can get a group shot of us all together! To remember how incredible those two days were!
